Canty Bay is approximately two miles east of North Berwick on the A198. Situated on the left, past the Tantallon Caravan Park but before you reach Tantallon castle.
Look for a large white house on the left one mile after the Tantallon Caravan Park. This large white house called Canty Bay House is a private dwelling and the occupants should not be disturbed. Turn left immediately before this house, go via the wooden gate down the entire length of the private road where you will find wrought iron gates at the entrance to the Evans Trust property. The pictures below should help with finding the private road. For sat-nav the post code is EH39 5PL.
The Drift Cafe car park must never be used to drop off or collect participants visiting Canty Bay as this causes significant disruption to their business. At all times groups using our facilities must demonstrate courtesy and consideration to the neighbours and their properties at Canty Bay.
Leaders may bring cars down the private road to Lower Canty Bay but parents dropping off/collecting participants should enter through the upper gate and park on the grass immediately to the left then walk down to the properties.
At all times groups using our facilities must demonstrate courtesy and consideration for the neighbours and their properties at Canty Bay. The private road is communal and must be kept clear for access at all times. The driveway is a private communal single track road shared with neighbours and only suitable for light traffic, it must be kept clear for access at all times.
